Wee Wie

News from England -

A plumber caught on camera relieving himself in a customer's loft has been fined and ordered to do 150 hours community service.
Roy Williams, 46, from East Grinstead, Sussex, was captured by hidden cameras urinating into a vase and pouring it into the water tank at a Surrey house.

It has been suggested that Mr Williams deserves some praise from the female world..... He managed to urinate into a vase when most men can't even hit a toilet bowl!!

Michelle Wie is a young, female golf prodigy that is threatening to compete with male players in the big golf tournaments of the world.

When I was in St Andrews recently, watching the British Open, I saw that Young Tom Morris won the Open in 1868 at the age of 17. In fact he competed in an Open when he was 14.

I commented that this would not happen again because no-one that young would be allowed to play. How wrong am I? Michelle Wie is 15 years old and they talking about her playing in Major male tournaments. Not only could a 15 year old play in a Major but it could be a girl! Mon Dieu!

Good luck to her and lets hope she can survive the hype.

A tornado hit Birmingham yesterday. We don't do tornadoes in England. As some Americans know a tornado is no laughing matter. Why then have all the press, including the BBC, been joking about "some bad weather..heehee" and "a mini tornado hit Birmingham" said in a dismissing voice.

There are thousands of people homeless, at least 12 people injured and a school was hit but luckily the children are on holiday.

If this had been a bomb that destroyed so many houses the smarmy, sniggering news anchormen wouldn't be so f-ing smug. Whilst it is unusual to see a tornado, the news reporters shouldn't treat it like a novelty. Tossers

When I went to the movies to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last weekend, I'm pretty sure one of the previews was a for a movie about that Tom Morris guy. The Greatest Game I think it was called.

I live in tornado alley here in the states...tornados are serious business.

Two years ago when a big one came through...it missed my block by about three block and my windows were rattling.
They really aren't a laughing matter. Somebody should smack those reporters.

When we had an earthquake recently it was exciting, we all got a jolt so to speak.

However, it would not have been amusing at all if anyone had gotten hurt or homes and lives had been destroyed as so often happens in earthquakes. We were lucky here.

I agree with the tossers comment.

Here in TX they're a dime a dozen. If there's not a death toll, it's just a blip. But England - I would think it would be big news and keep people scared. I mean, they probably don't teach your schoolkids to stay in the bathroom or any interior room during a tornao.
